Today was another container loading day. Early in the morning, the freight company’s truck arrived on time, and our team is ready as well. The 40HQ container stood tall at the warehouse gate, like a “big eater” waiting to be filled.

Today is set up to have our Aluminum Profiles, metal screens and our procurement shipments to be load in the container and go in 2 hours. And heading to Mexico.

  • Preparation Before Loading
We arranged the shipment layout in the container twice: one was completed within 2 days after receiving manufacturing approval from our customer, and the other was for the shipments already packaged. double-checking always gives us a peace of mind.

Today’s loading list included various product specifications, with a total weight of 24 tons. Each aluminum profile was tightly wrapped in poly shrink film and marked as per specified drawing.

Teamwork and Effort

The loading process began, and as usual, our team worked seamlessly together:

• Li, the forklift operator, skillfully and precisely delivered the goods to the container’s entrance, his movements almost like a dance.

• Wang was inside the container, directing the placement of the goods to ensure a tight, stable stack.

• Meanwhile, Xiao Li recorded the order of the goods and provided suggestions for optimizing the loading plan.

With each batch loaded, we used measuring tools to ensure the goods were aligned and the stacks were balanced. Proper utilization of the container’s space is critical. Every detail in the loading process matters, as even a small mistake could affect the stability of the goods during transit or lead to customer complaints.

Completion and Reflection

After much effort, the container was finally packed to capacity! As we closed the container door, everyone let out a sigh of relief. We then sealed the container with matched seal and signed off on the record sheet. This marked the beginning of the shipment’s long journey, traveling from our small warehouse to the sea, and eventually to the customer’s hands.

Although loading a container is hard physical work, there’s a special sense of satisfaction each time we complete the task. Seeing the neatly stacked goods filling the container feels like finishing a piece of art. More importantly, these goods carry not only our efforts but also our promise to the customer.
